Description
Asmaco PU 81 is a high-quality multipurpose non-sag one component polyurethane sealant suitable for various bonding and sealing applications in transport industry like bus, truck, rail, boats etc. It cures on exposure to atmospheric humidity to form a durable elastomeric bond which can withstand torsional and impact loads. The product meets the requirements of ASTM C920 types and ISO 11600 Classification F25 HM. It bonds well to a wide variety of substrates and is suitable for making permanent elastic seals of high adhesive strength. Suitable substrate materials are timber, metals, metal primers and paint coatings and ceramic materials . Asmaco PU 81 is suitable for elastic structural bonding (assembly of various materials which are subjected to high thermal and dynamic stress) in the transportation industry. It’s high viscosity guarantees a very high initial tack and is suitable for the application of large surface glasses typical in the transport industry.
