The Cat DX53B is a cordless circular saw packed with convenience plus amazing features and performance. This tool is the bare tool only without batteries or charger. The 1 For ALL battery concept allows for all the Cat 18V tools to share the same batteries and charger. Invest in the charger and batteries once and share them to fit all your Cat 18V tools. The circular saw has a brushless motor for optimal performance, long service life and great battery efficiency. Maximum cutting capacity for bevel cutting op to 45 Deg. is 46mm and 65mm at 90 Deg.. For added safety, a Lock-off switch prevents accidental starting. A Soft Start feature and Electronic Brake comes as standard preventing the danger of jerking when switching ON and waiting for the machine to stop upon switching it OFF. The DX53B lightweight design is constructed of a magnesium alloy base and aluminium guard. A vacuum adapter is included for connection to a dust extractor (vacuum cleaner). The hex key for blade changing is stored onboard. Other features that stands out are a metal rafter hook, rubber over mold grip and a LED light for good visibility of the cutting line. The 1 FOR ALL battery concept allows for any of the Cat batteries to fit this power tool offering exceptional performance.
