It's two instruments in one! ETI's 814-065 is both an infrared, non-contact digital thermometer and includes a folding penetration temperature probe suitable for direct contact temperature measurements. Ideal for use in food production and other similar applications. the 814-065 gives you a comprehensive temperature reading of both core and surface temperatures. Use the built-in infrared measurement mode to measure the surface without contact from -32.9 to 219.9 Degree C, then use the probe to test liquids and semi-solid materials (e.g. food) with range from -54.9 to 329.9 Degree C. Switching between the two modes is simple - just tap the IR On button to switch. The penetration probe is made from high quality, easy-to-clean stainless steel and is 3.3mm in diameter and 120mm in length. When not in use, the probe folds away neatly into the body of the thermometer for storage.
