Description

The Lorient LAS8001si is an automatic drop seal with a high efficiency mechanism which lifts the seal clear of the floor as soon as the door is opened by a few millimetres; resulting in lower door operating forces. It requires no power connection. The Lorient drop seal falls automatically when a door closes, creating a seal that prevents smoke from spreading.

Location

Single swing doors.

For use on both right and left handed doors.

Use with

Any perimeter seal. Any threshold plate.

Min/max gap size

1mm/13mm.

Fixing

Fixing screws are supplied. This seal is mortised.

Pre-drilled radiused end plates are supplied which also secure the product in place. (Square end plates available on request).

Adjustment

Self-levelling on uneven surfaces. Can be adjusted independently of the fixing screws.
