Weicon Lock Activator F Spray, 30700200, 200ml

The cure time can considerably be reduced by pre-treatment with WeiconLOCK Activator F, which is recommended for all passive surfaces and which is indispensable at low ambient temperatures (+10 Deg.C/+50 Deg.F and bellow) and for large gaps. On non-metallic surfaces, WeiconLOCK is made effective by using the activator.
Surface pre-treatment

In general, WEICONLOCK does not require special pre-treatment as slightly oily surfaces (e.g. on as received parts) will be tolerated. However, best results will be achieved on cleaned, degreased parts (use WEICON Surface Cleaner). If required, the parts should be slightly roughened.

Processing

Spray WEICONLOCK Activator F on one of the cleaned surfaces of the parts to be bonded. If you use the Activator F in liquid form, use a brush to apply the product. With bigger bonding gaps and/or porous or rough materials, the Activator F must be applied on both surfaces. Let it evaporate for approx. 2 minutes at room temperature (+20 Deg.C).

After activating, the parts should be bonded quickly. Renewed contamination of the surface prior to bonding should be avoided. Do not mix activator and adhes.

Storage

Activator F can be stored in the unopened original container for at least 24 months at room temperature. Keep away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
